User personas are imaginary characters that represent the different user types that can use for the service, products. However, personas, fictional describe real people with bios, aims, skills, constraints and values. Thanks to user persona, we can able to have depth insights about product’s target audience, user’s habits and user’s preference.

Benefit of Personas?

A company may have 10 customers, but another company may have millions of customers. It should not be difficult to create a customer profile in a company with 10 customers, but it is almost impossible and unnecessary to reveal the profiles of all customers in a company with millions of customers.

How to create a good user persona?

Each persona should include;

  • Name (It is important to use evocative general names like name with job title or name with habits)
  • - Photo (It is recommended not to use photos of famous or private persons)
  • - Bio (A little bit of past life wouldn’t be bad)
  • - Demographics (Age, sex, income, location)
  • - Personal characteristics
  • - Goals or Objectives
